Harborough District Council is carrying out a Community Governance Review under the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007. A Community Governance Review enables us to look at and make changes where necessary to local parish governance arrangements.

Both Kibworth Parish Councils are supporting these free kids and adults safe sessions led by qualified coaches. The sessions will be held on Warwick Park including the MUGA.

Today a new bench has been unpacked and installed. It is a new VE/VJ 75th anniversary commemorative bench on Church Road. This bench was funded by money granted to the two Kibworth Parish Councils by Harborough District Council to celebrate VE Day. Today Saturday 8th August several dozen masks were given to families responding to the parish council's FaceBook page. .

While we can't have the street parties and activities many had planned to mark VE Day, there are still lots of ways to celebrate that won't break social distancing rules.

Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order. A road closure is required on the 08/03/2020 from High Street Kibworth Beauchamp to Main Street and Saddington Road Smeeton Westerby. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety during the Kibworth/ Smeeton Westerby Road Race.

This year's Christmas late night shopping event takes place this Wednesday 4th December from 6-9PM. There is plenty going on so come along to the High Street and support your local businesses.
