The Parish Council is funded by public money, mainly from council tax.  We review our financial regulations annually.   Each year, we agree a budget so we can fulfil our duties, pay for the services we provide and the amenities we support. 

Our finances are audited by James Ireland of Ireland & Company of Kibworth, appointed by the Council, and PKF Littlejohn LLP appointed by the Smaller Authorities Audit Appointments on behalf of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

The Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities (December 2014) requires parish councils to publish regular details of our finances.  These are available below.   We also publish our Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR).
