The Parish Council is funded by public money, mainly from council taxation.  We manage our finances according to financial regulations which are reviewed annually.  Each year, we agree a budget to enable us to fulfil our duties and pay for the services we provide and amenities we support. 

Our finances are audited by James Ireland of Ireland & Company (Kibworth) appointed by the Council, and PKF Littlejohn LLP appointed by the Smaller Authorities Audit Appointments on behalf of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

The Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities (December 2014) requires parish councils to publish full details of our financial management and transactions.  These are available below.
